Skin Treatments

Do imperfections and uneven texture have you feeling self conscious?

The natural aging process, as well as damage caused by exposure to outside factors, can have a negative impact on the quality and appearance of your complexation.

If you are experiencing skin concerns, and are looking for a reliable solution for replenishing your skin, we have several different treatments available that could be the solution you have been looking for.

What is Microneedling?

Microneedling is an advanced and highly-effective skin treatment that successfully exfoliates and replenishes the look and quality of skin tissue. It is a safe remedy for correcting a variety of common skin concerns including aging signs, uneven skin tone, uneven texture, dead and dull skin. This innovative remedy is so successful at rejuvenating past the surface because the specialized microneedling  method works to activate collagen production and regeneration of healthy skin tissue. Microneedling can have your skin looking vibrant and glowing.

How Does it Work?

Here at Embellish Med Spa, we create customized treatment plans that focus on the individualized needs and aesthetic goals of each client. Microneedling treatments are performed through the use of a specialized hand held device that is held to the skin and moved along the treatment area. The tip of the device has a series of microneedles that work to produce tiny micro punctures on the surface, while exfoliating away dead and damaged cells. These micro punctures activate collagen production and restoration within tissue for improved circulation and replenishment. Increased collagen levels and replenishment within the treatment area work to diminish skin concerns from within and on the surface of skin.

Results can be visible following treatment, and continue to progress as collagen production continues for a smooth and even tone. This revitalizing remedy can have your skin looking and feeling its best for an improved, natural glow.

There are many benefits that personalized microneedling treatments can provide you including:

  • Quick and comfortable treatments

  • Activate collagen production

  • Smooth away dead skin

  • Even tone and texture

  • Diminish aging concerns

  • Eliminate skin imperfections

Microderm Abrasion
Facial   Treatment

What is Microdermabrasion?

Microdermabrasion treatments use a minimally abrasive instrument to gently sand your skin, removing the thicker, uneven outer layer, and has many benefits.

This type of skin rejuvenation is used to treat light scarring, discoloration, sun damage and stretch marks.

What microdermabrasion can do?

  • Improve age spots and blackheads

  • Improve hyperpigmentation (patches of darkened skin)

  • Exfoliate your skin, resulting in a refreshed appearance

  • Lessen the appearance of stretch marks

  • Reduce fine lines and wrinkles

  • Reduce or eliminate enlarged pores

  • Treat acne and the scars left by acne

Microdermabrasion helps to thicken your collagen, which results in a younger looking complexion. Collagen is a protein in your skin which is abundant when you're a child and makes skin appear taut and smooth. Collagen production declines as we age, resulting in looser, uneven skin.

Botox Facial

What is a Botox Facial?

A Botox facial, or Microchanneling is very similar to Microneedling. This is a non-invasive procedure that is designed to simulate your body's natural ability to generate collagen, elastin, and other building blocks of healthy skin. By stimulating the outermost layers of the skin, microchanneling can help your body jump-start it's natural process and creating younger looking skin with minimal downtime. It is called a "Botox Facial" due to the fact that we add botox into the serum applied to your face which helps to decrease the fine lines and wrinkles.

Botox facials are minimally invasive, and are safe for all ages and skin types. Whether you are fair-skinned or dark, and even if you experience chronic breakouts, properly conducted treatments will not result in hyperpigmentation, keloid scars, or other lasting negative side effects.

Who Can Benefit from Microchanneling Treatments?

The ideal candidates are those who seek improvement in the following areas:

* Acne Scar

* Fine lines and wrinkles

*Anti-aging or skin tightening

* Hyperpigmentation (sun spots)

* Pore size reduction

* Rosacea

*Stretch marks or other traumatic scarring

Microchanneling vs. Microneedling

The main differences between microchanneling and microneedling are the type of device that is used to perform the treatment and the technique that is used. A microneedling device involves the use of a handheld pen which is continuously moved over the skin. Microchanneling uses a stamping technique, resulting in clean, consistent micro-channels. This reduces tissue damage, inflammation, and discomfort for the clients.

How long before I can expect to see results?

Though the production of new collagen can take several weeks, it is not abnormal to notice an improvement in the quality and appearance of your skin within the first few days. After 2-3 treatments you will see a noticeable improvement. For scarring, laxity, and wrinkles, a client may need up to 6 treatments.

Are there any contraindications?

If you have any underlying condition that significantly impairs your immune system, it is a good idea to avoid microchanneling. Examples include but are not limited to active radiation or chemotherapy, uncontrolled diabetes, chronic inflammatory skin disease, Accutane in the past 2 years, hemophilia or similar bleeding disorder. Also anyone with stainless steel allergies should not do this treatment. We also discourage treatments for those who are pregnant or nursing.

Chemical Peels

A chemical peel is a procedure in which a chemical solution is applied to the skin to remove the top layers. The skin that grows back is smoother. With a light or medium peel, you may need to undergo the procedure more than once to get the desired results.

Chemical peels are used to treat wrinkles, discolored skin and scars — usually on the face. They can be done alone or combined with other cosmetic procedures.  They can be done at different depths, from light to deep. Deeper chemical peels offer more-dramatic results but also take longer to recover from.
